General Information Meeting on Friday, June 19th.
Our group's goal is to serve our community and make sure that all students can put their best foot forward academically during such a tumultuous time.
We will be holding weekly classes on various important subjects to provide an early glimpse into these courses, condensing the most crucial elements and giving tips based on our personal experiences to place the students in the best position to succeed.
We are students from Northview High School in Georgia. This means that our tutoring material and pace will be influenced by our personal experience in the respective subjects at Northview. That being said, all the necessary content will be covered and we will plan our classes to be universally beneficial regardless of the specific curriculum.
When do classes start?
There will be a general information session on our program on Friday, June 19 (and another date TBA if more people join afterwards). The overview sessions on each classes will take place on the week of June 22-26, and the main classes will begin the following week.
What platform will be used?
Sessions will be help over Zoom, free of charge to the students. Zoom links to each meeting and classes will be posted on the website and the GroupMe.
Will there be homework?
No mandatory homework will be given. However, activities/exercises may be provided and will be highly recommended to complete to help with learning.
If I am taking a different level course or in a different school, will the classes still be beneficial?
Yes! The material covered in our classes will encompass the scopes of on-level, honors, and AP classes since it is based on the AP Classes standard posted on the CollegeBoard site.
